These SMS Terms & Conditions (“SMS Terms”) govern your participation in the 1League Account Security SMS Program (the “Program”) offered by Luong Technologies (“1League,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) through the 1League mobile application and website at www.1league.app. By opting in to the Program, you agree to these SMS Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Program Description
The Program is a transactional messaging campaign used solely to help you access and secure your 1League account. We send automated text messages only for the following purposes:
- Account verification — one-time passcodes to confirm ownership of your cell phone number when you register or update your profile;
- Password reset — a secure link and your username when you request to reset your password;
- Account recovery — information needed to recover access to your account when you cannot sign in.
The Program is not a marketing campaign. We do not send promotional offers, advertisements, newsletters, surveys, or other unsolicited commercial messages by SMS. Message content is limited to the transactional purposes listed above.
2. Consent and Opt-In
We will send SMS messages only after you have provided express consent by:
- Entering your cell phone number and checking the SMS opt-in box during registration, profile update, or the one-time account security prompt in the app; and
- Requesting a verification code or password reset that requires a text message.
Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services, except that you must opt in if you choose to use SMS-based verification or password reset. You may use 1League without providing a mobile number, subject to available account recovery options.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your activity. You will typically receive one to three messages per verification or password reset request. We do not send recurring or scheduled marketing messages. Additional messages may be sent only if you initiate another verification or recovery request.
4. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Charges depend on your wireless carrier plan. Contact your carrier for details. Luong Technologies does not charge separate fees for SMS messages beyond any standard carrier rates.
5. Opt-Out and Help
You may opt out of receiving further Program messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. After you send STOP, we will send a one-time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. You may also decline to provide a phone number in the app or remove your number from your profile.

Opting out of SMS may limit your ability to reset your password or recover your account by text message. You may still use other account recovery methods we make available.
6. No Spam; No Advertising
We are committed to responsible messaging practices. We will never spam you. We will never send advertisements, promotional content, or unrelated marketing messages through this Program.
7. No Sale or Sharing for Marketing
We will never sell, rent, lease, or trade your phone number to any third-party vendor for their marketing, lead generation, or commercial purposes. We do not share your mobile number with advertising networks or data brokers. Mobile information is shared only with service providers (such as SMS delivery platforms) that assist us in sending transactional messages on our behalf and are bound to use the information solely for that purpose.
8. Supported Carriers and Delivery
The Program is available on participating U.S. wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to your device, carrier network, and other factors outside our control.
9. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and the authorized user of the mobile number you provide. You represent that the number you supply is your own or that you have permission to use it for account verification and recovery.
10. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information, including your phone number, is described in our Privacy Policy. By participating in the Program, you acknowledge that you have read and understand that policy.
11. Changes to These SMS Terms
We may modify these SMS Terms at any time. When we do, we will post the updated terms on this page and revise the effective date. Your continued participation in the Program after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated SMS Terms, except where additional consent is required by law.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate the Program, or your participation in it, at any time for operational, legal, or security reasons. You may stop receiving messages by opting out as described in Section 5.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Program is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, regarding SMS delivery, timeliness, or fitness for a particular purpose.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Luong Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to the Program or your use of SMS-based account services, including damages resulting from delayed, failed, or misdirected messages.
15. Governing Law
These SMS Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State in which Luong Technologies is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where preempted by federal telecommunications or consumer protection law.
